How to post an event

Note: It is advised that you read the tutorial on how to blog, available here, so that you have a general knowledge of the SA Business Business Blog system.

OK, now we are going to create a new event. Log in to the user dashboard and on the top left navigation click “Write”, and then “Event”.



Creating an event is very similar to blogging. The only differences being, instead of a title you have an event name, and you can add a link to your event. If you have another website with your event on, you can add that link here.

Give your event a name, for instance, “Classic Car show”, and if you have a link for your event, add it in the link field. If you do not have a link for your event, simply leave the link field blank.

You can now specify the date for your event. Set the start date and time, as well as the end date and time. Now you can add a description of your event, the more you type the better. Be sure to give any important information such as directions to the event, entrance fee, any special notes, etc.

Once that is done, simply click save on the right of the screen. You can now view your event on the website and tell everyone to check it out.
