Knysna Golf Club fire

At the beginning of 2010 the lack of rain in the greater Knysna area seems to continue. This has led to several devastating fires, including the area between Belvedere and Lake Brenton and more recently, the Knysna Golf Club burnt to the ground yesterday afternoon, early evening. That is 13 January ‘10. A very unlucky 13th and I had the misfortune of being at the club when the fire broke out. The exact cause is unknown to me, but rumour has it that a leak in a diesel tank caused the fire. I guess we’ll find out shortly.

On a brighter note it seems as though most businesses in Knysna showed an increase in turn over for the festive season and could indicate that we have turned the corner insofar as the economic crisis is concerned. Not many business buyers were around this festive season, but enquiries still remained at a steady flow from people looking at a better lifestyle on the Garden Route. For enquiries on businesses for sale on the Garden Route kindly contact us on (044) 382-3071, info@fs-group.co.za  or visit our web site www.fs-group.co.za for some of the opportunities available. Until next time, may 2010 be exceptionally rewarding to all.
